As scientific advances continue to improve the diagnostic and therapeutic modalities available to patients with cardiovascular disease, Consulting Cardiologists, PC will continue to be at the forefront, a commitment which began with the first heart transplant performed at Hartford Hospital in 1984. Founded in 1979 by Drs. Michael Rossi, Alfredo Nino and James Dougherty, Consulting Cardiologists, PC has since grown to 6 cardiologists with special expertise in clinical cardiology, non-invasive cardiac imaging and cardiac transplantation. As a member of the Henry Low Heart Center at Hartford Hospital, we offer patients comprehensive, state-of-the-art cardiovascular evaluation and treatment. Our mission is to provide patients with the highest standard of cardiovascular care in a state-of-the-art and humanistic manner.
