Monday from 8:30 am - 8:30 pm

Tuesday - Friday from 8:30 am - 5 pm

Call ahead for specific hours and/or an appointment.

Urgent care visits may be made without an appointment. Please bring insurance information to your visits.

Services:

Adult, Elderly Medical Care; Children's Medical Care (Pediatrics); Physical examinations for school/employment or camp; Immunizations; Laboratory; Screening for hypertension, diabetes, HIV/AIDS and other diseases; Board eligible or certified physicians with admitting privileges at Yale-New Haven Hospital; Licensed nurse practitioners and physician assistants; Registered nurses; Accredited by JCAHO.

Patient Transportation:

For your convenience, we provide free door-to-door patient transportation.

Payment Plans:

Medicaid, Medicaid Managed Care Plans, Medicare, HUSKY, SAGA, and most commercial health insurance plans are accepted.

Sliding Fee Scale:

We reduce our charges for uninsured patients by using a sliding fee scale based on family size and income. If you qualify for the sliding fee scale, please bring in your pay stubs or other proof of income.

Doctors are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

If you need to call West Haven Health Center at night or during the weekend about an urgent medical concern, the answering service will contact the doctor on call for you.

Birth-to-Three Program for children with growth or developmental concerns; Teen Pregnancy Program; WIC Program; In-Patient Substance Abuse Detoxification; Outpatient Substance Abuse Counseling/Treatment; Child and Family Counseling Services; Adult Mental Health Services; Dental.
