Detailed description:
The CS-HHC Dental program (Columbus Avenue Main site and Derby site) serves as a major training site for The University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine AEGD residents and Fellows. There are over 8 residents a year rotating through the CS-HHC dental program.
The program is also a training site for the Fones School of Hygiene and the Briarwood School of Hygiene students.

Fillings, Fixed and removable prostheses, Full/partial dentures, Bonding, 10 modern operatories, Routine periodontal (gum disease) treatment, Routine oral surgery, extractions; Insertion of night guards and sports mouth guards; Nitrous oxide; Oral cancer screening; Referral to specialists; Dental Hygiene; Dental prophylaxis (cleaning); Sealants; Fluoride treatment; X-ray; Oral hygiene instruction.
