Short profile:

Corpus Christi Women's Clinic has nine Board Certified Physicians and one Nurse Practionair. Our Womankind Services offer patients the convenience of complete care, including sonograms, bone density testing, urodynamics, and laser hair and vein removal.

Detailed description:

The clinic was founded by Dr. Douglas Matey, Jr. (Retired) and Dr. Thomas Wilder in 1981. Drs. Matey and Wilder had become friends during their tours of duty with the U.S. Navy. They each had compatible philosophies regarding what type of practice they would like when transitioning into private practice. Most importantly, that it be patient oriented. They were joined by Dr. Charles Kirkham in 1988.

In 1993, Dr. Patrizia Gentile merged her practice with the clinic in April, Dr. Jaime Pena, who had a private practice in the area merged in August. Dr. Robert Mastin merged his private practice with the clinic in 1994. Dr. Christine Canterbury and Dr. Maria Perez-Montes joined our group in 1998. Dr. Theressa J. Nowitzky & Dr. Leighanne Glazener joined the clinic in 2007. Dr. Benjamin Supnet rejoined our clinic in 2008. Our Office is located at the Bay Area Hospital Professional Building.
