CRAWFISH AQUATICS

Our Mission is to provide Baton Rouge, Lafayette and the surrounding area competitive and recreational swimming for children and adults of all ages. Through USA Swimming (Year Round Competitve and Swim School), Masters Swimming, High School Swimming and our Swimming Lessons program, Crawfish Aquatics seeks to provide a healthy, positive, enriching atmosphere for its membership to compete, train, or participate at any level.

Crawfish Aquatics is a member of USA Swimming and offers year round competitive swimming for ages four years and older. As a member of this national organization all of our members are insured and our daily practices are monitored and supervised by USA Swimming Certified coaches. Our training is divided into small groups with a professional staff member assigned to each group. There are six groups that are organized by age, ability and physical maturity. Our swimmers compete on a regular schedule approved by Louisiana Swimming Inc. Our team hosts several home competitions and will travel locally, regionally and nationally to provide appropriate competition for all of our members.

The mission of Crawfish Aquatics is to offer a quality swim program unified by integrity, overall development and fulfillment of potential.

Quality - The aim of Crawfish Aquatics is to provide first-class, professionally-run programs. The staff of Crawfish Aquatics strives for excellence in every respect, be it coaching, parent relations, communication or maintenance of the facility.

Fulfillment of Potential - Every swimmer who joins the program brings a particular level of talent or natural ability. Our job in Crawfish Aquatics is to help develop that potential to the best of our ability. Success is not measured in gold medals or first places, but in the journey each swimmer takes to bring out his or her best.

Unified - While there are several programs under the umbrella of Crawfish Aquatics, the aim is to unify all programs so they support one another. Also, we aim to build a "family" of swimmers, parents and supporters, all working together towards a common goal of excellence.

Integrity - To have a first-class swim program, we must have people of great integrity. We expect honesty, character and openness from every member. We aim to build young people who will be outstanding members of the community and lead positive and fruitful lives.
