The Creston News Advertiser is a daily newspaper (Monday through Friday, afternoons) which serves a seven-county region of south central and southwest Iowa. The newspaper was founded as a weekly in 1879 and began daily circulation in 1881.

The News Advertiser is published by Creston Publishing Company which also publishes the weekly Southwest Iowa Advertiser and operates a web printing division.

Since 1946, the Creston News Advertiser has been a part of the Shaw Media family based in Dixon, Illinois.
