A. Pneumatic logic circuits are used to control the function of air cylinders, motors, process valves or other pneumatic actuators, singularly or in complex, multi-functional sequences.

Pneumatic controls emit no spark, magnetic or radio frequency radiation, nor are they effected by them. Dangerous environments such as dust concentrations; flammable chemicals or even explosives manufacturing can be safely controlled by pneumatics.They are unaffected by strong magnetic fields or high RF emissions that would render electronic devices inoperable.

Pressure switches can be used to initiate electrical sub-circuits and

solenoid valves can be used to initiate pneumatic functions. Pneumatic timers, proximity and limit switches and their electrical counterparts can be used interchangeably to best advantage.
