The Damien Center's General Hours of Operation: Monday: 9 am - 6 pm, Tuesday: 9 am - 6 pm, Wednesday: 11 am - 6 pm, Thursday: 9 am - 6 pm, Friday: 9 am - 5 pm. The Joseph F. Miller Testing Center's Hours: Monday: 9 am - 5 pm, Tuesday: 9 am - 7 pm, Wednesday: 11 am - 5 pm, Thursday: 9 am - 7 pm, Friday: 9 am - 2 pm, Saturday: 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. The Joseph F. Miller Testing Center is located at Arsenal Avenue. Our Saturday hours have been modified due to remodeling of the 1530 North Meridian Street Walgreens; we will test at the Joseph F. Miller Testing Center for the first four Saturdays of every month until further notice. Our mission is to empower persons in Central Indiana affected by HIV/AIDS to move forward each day with dignity and to lead the fight to prevent the spread of HIV. We envision Central Indiana free of the suffering caused by HIV/AIDS.

Until then, we envision that every HIV-affected person in Central Indiana knows that The Damien Center is a safe and welcoming place so that no barriers separate people from the services they need to prolong and enhance their lives. What we seek to accomplish: We will boldly, proactively, and persistently respond to the changes in the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Central Indiana. We will build on our strengths and become even more person-centered in our services and the way they are delivered by growing closer to those afefcted by the disease and by connecting community solutions so that no person in Central Indiana impacted by HIV/AIDS lacks the care they need to live a longer, healthier, more productive life. With the same innovative and proactive person-centered approach, we will lead the community in the fight to prevent the spread of HIV. The Damien Center's prevention department believes in empowering choices through education. The prevention department provides services like testing, comprehensive risk counseling, Teen Damien, Project CORE, and outreach efforts. Because there is no cure for HIV, prevention is our only way of stopping the virus. For more information about our free HIV/STD testing, please visit the links above. The Damien Center provides both necessary client services, like housing and employment opportunities, as well as client enrichment, like client events and support groups. Through both client services and enrichment, we hope to help client move forward in their lives with dignity.
