The Thrift Shop is open for shopping Monday through Saturday from 9a.m. to 3 p.m.

The shop will be closed from December 24 - January 1.

DMH Thrift Shop The DMH Thrift Shop, owned an operated by the DMH Auxiliary, features quality merchandise, both new and used at bargain prices. The building, at 553 W. Wood St., was a gift to Decatur Memorial Hospital by Mr. and Mrs. F. Merrill Lindsay in 1991.

Detailed description:

Proceeds from the Thrift Shop, benefit the DMH Auxiliary, which provides financial support to the hospital to purchase patient equipment and provide services for Decatur Memorial Hospital.

Merchandise Categories:

Men’s clothing, Women’s Clothing, Children’s clothing, Furniture, Jewelry, Kitchen utensils and accessories, Decorative items, Collectibles, Designer Corner, Antiques.

Twice per year, in March and August, the Thrift Shop has a week-long bag sale, with special pricing for bags that customers fill with merchandise. Each day of the week has a different price for a bag.

Donations are accepted Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 11a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Clothing left on hangers or folded in smaller boxes or shopping bags are preferred.

The DMH Thrift shop accepts small appliances, but can't accomodate donations of stoves, refrigerators or other large appliances.

The DMH Thrift Shop accepts MasterCard and Visa debit and credit cards.

Payroll deduction is available for qualified DMH employees.
