Detailed description:
Laura Asbell, PhD, provides a powerful, transformational approach to the problems faced by individuals, relationships, and organizations. Application of her postmodern model can lead to a richer, more sophisticated level of thought and behavior-effecting real change in ease and well-being. Dr Asbell is active in the professional community. She is past president of the Washington State Psychological Association and continues to be active in this organization. Currently she is Chair of the Ethics and Professional Standards Committee. She also is a member of the Consulting Professionals Network, the American Psychological Association, the Idaho Psychological Association, and the Society of Consulting Psychology. She is a Clinical Associate with the University of Washington School of Medicine, and she is currently collaborating on a research project on leadership with the Intercollegiate College of Nursing, Eastern State Hospital, and Gonzaga University. Wendy Biondi, LMHC, offers individual therapy for children, adolescents and adults as well as counseling for traditional and nontraditional families and couples. Her therapeutic approach incorporates a variety of strength-based techniques to facilitate self-awareness and promote personal healing, growth and transformation. Ms. Biondi has extensive experience in treating and assisting individuals struggling with depression; anxiety and panic; unresolved trauma; low self-esteem; specific women's and men's issues; grief and loss; relationship/emotional intimacy struggles; life transitions such as divorce, mid-life issues, and career changes; blended family friction; parent/child conflict; work related stress and burnout; anger and other behavioral challenges; and co-occurring disorders.
