In support of the DAU mission as depicted by the Performance Learning Model (PLM), DAU Mission Assistance (MA) ensures the right people are available to provide the right products and services at the right time in response to requests for support by the Defense Acquisition Workforce and other DAU customers. DAU provides practical, rapidly delivered business solutions offered to students and their organizations. The university provides a full range of basic, intermediate, and advanced certification training, assignment-specific training, applied research, and continuous learning opportunities.

The Defense Acquisition University (DAU) is the corporate university responsible for the training and career development of the more than 126, 000 DoD acquisition employees who provide weapon systems supplies and services to our nation’s warfighters.
