Delphi Healthcare Partners is a contract physician staffing and management company, formed in response to an evolving physician practice environment in which many private physicians no longer wish to admit and follow patients in the hospital and specialty physicians no longer want to provide ED on-call backup coverage. The combination of these two physician practice style changes has created a need for innovative solutions to both ambulatory and hospital-based patient care services. Our company consists of senior staff members and support staff with extensive practice management and recruitment experience in a broad spectrum of specialties and settings including Anesthesiology, OB/Gyn, Pediatrics, Hospitalists, Intensivists, Orthopedics, Emergency Medicine, General Surgery and others. The Delphi team has worked with literally hundreds of hospitals nationwide in designing, staffing, implementing and managing innovative solutions to various challenging and new clinical situations.

Delphi has become known as an innovative resource for specialty hospitalist programs that serve as ED on-call backup coverage alternatives in Orthopedics, General Surgery, and OB/Gyn. Delphi offers Intensivist and Orthopedic Trauma programs as well as long-term physician staffing and management solutions for Anesthesiology, Radiology, and Pediatrics. In addition, Delphi has provided consulting services to hospitals for a broad range of physician staffing challenges. Delphi is national in scope with clients from the east to the west coast. Our greatest value is our expertise in the formation and management of new groups of physicians . . . especially when timing is critical. In time-critical situations, best efforts recruiting by the hospital, a recruiting agency, or locum tenens firm may not produce the desired results. Delphi is not in the best efforts business. We deliver solutions — qualified and committed physicians, timely start-up, continuity of coverage and ongoing practice management services — all by a guaranteed time and at a guaranteed price. Delphi designs effective solutions in response to the ED Call Backup coverage crisis affecting hospitals throughout the country. Per EMTALA regulations, hospitals are required to provide certain levels of service in their Emergency Departments. The responsibility and liability for this is placed on hospital administrators rather than on the medical practitioners. When administrators have holes in ED Call coverage or are at risk of losing coverage altogether, Delphi can work with them to put a program in place that may include either long term or short term solutions. We are currently developing and managing Adult Hospitalist, Critical Care (or Intensivist), Anesthesiology and Radiology physician groups as well as Orthopedic and OB/Gyn coverage options.
