Detailed description:
The Association holds no authority over its member churches. Rather, the churches, through their Executive Board members, determine the direction of the Association. Ultimately, Denton Baptist Association is an organization of churches offering encouragement and assistance to churches, their leadership, and their members.
The American League Pennant has been claimed by the Texas Rangers, but the World Series has not yet begun as I write today. The temptation is too strong to pass on the opportunity to share some things that the Rangers could teach the church.
