We are The Dermatology Center of Stamford, a four woman, board certified dermatology group founded by Dr. Debra Pruzan-Clain. What makes us unique is that we pride ourselves on being medical dermatologists first and foremost. We are the doctors’ doctors, and physicians can trust that we’ll pay heed to their patients medical skin issues. On the other hand we do provide a wide array of cosmetic services so our patients don’t have to go elsewhere to get their lines and spots treated. Patients like us because we are extremely conservative and do not push our services. As one woman said, we do enough cosmetic work to keep their friends guessing. Our medical services include skin cancer checks and treatment of all dermatologic conditions including acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, seborrhea, warts and skin cancer (basal cell cancers, squamous cell cancers and melanoma.) Our cosmetic services include chemical peels (glycolic and TCA), laser treatments, sclerotherapy (leg vein treatment) Botox, and fillers (Juvederm). Our new Lumenis duet laser represents the newest in technology. With it we can treat small and large areas including the legs and back in very little time. It can be used on all skin types with no risk of scarring. ALL OUR PROCEDURES ARE DONE BY THE DOCTORS THEMSELVES. We do not us nurses or physician assistants to treat our patients.
