Check out the self-service wash area, for the clients that prefer to wash their own pets. We offer premium grooming along with additional Spa Packages, such as aromatherapy pet bath and massage for the arthritic pets. Our mission is to make you a life-long member of the Diamond in the Ruff family.

Whether you're a new pet owner or have had pets around you for many years, learning about proper pet care is essential if you're to give your pet the greatest possible chance to enjoy a long and healthy life. Grooming is a very important part in this. Our goals are simple, to create a bond with our clients and their pets and help you in any way to make sure your pets stay healthy and happy. Diamond in the Ruff is owned and operated by Tracy Unden. Tracy is a National Certified Dog Groomer by the National Dog Groomers Association of America. Tracy has been grooming for 5 years and has been lucky enough to have a career that is also her passion. She is capable in grooming all breeds of dogs to breed standard and is also experienced in hand stripping your rough coated terriers. If you want a “personality trim” on your pet, she can offer that also. Tracy is very dedicated to the quality of professional pet grooming, in doing so she attends several grooming seminars and workshops to always keep on top of her education.

We encourage pet adoptions by hosting adoption days at our store, by holding fundraisers and raffles monthly to support local rescue groups (such as Friends of Placer County Animal Control), and by offering discounts to anyone who has recently adopted a dog (show us your adoption papers within the first 3 months of adoption and we'll give you 20% OFF your first purchase or groom!).

Our self-service dog wash enables you to leave behind the hassle and mess of washing your dog at home. Just bring in your dog, and we’ll supply the rest. No appointments necessary, strictly walk-in. For the safety of your pets, all tubs and equipment are sterilized after each use. And your pet can choose a freshbaked treat for the road.
