Let’s get Fayetteville back to work. Let’s keep our families healthy and help our children stay in school. We need an attitude of inclusion; a focus on solving problems. I am passionate about helping our children and families and I am determined to create jobs for Fayetteville.

As a nurse, I have relished a life-long devotion to women and children’s healthcare issues. As a pediatric nurse, I saw firsthand the critical need for access to healthcare by children and families who had few options and fewer opportunities.

Healthy children become healthy adults. I am determined to support health insurance for all citizens, especially children. I support access to primary care for all citizens and we must prevent the need for emergency rooms as a source of primary care.

For 30 years, I volunteered as an advocate for child abuse prevention, teen pregnancy prevention, good parenting practices, and domestic violence prevention.

I strongly believe we need to create programs that promote wellness as a preventive health measure which will save valuable tax dollars.

We’ve got to get real about drug abuse. Drug abuse prevention and rehabilitation programs are a more fiscally responsible use of taxpayer

I have the first-hand experience and knowledge to be a leader on this critical issue. We must protect our investment in public schools. First-rate schools lead to first-rate jobs. And I am determined to support our professional educators.
