Doran Clinic For Women is a single-speciality obstetrics and gynecology clinic serving women living in Ames and central Iowa. We have a staff of 20 members. The services you receive are provided by board certified physicians who are highly trained and experienced in the management of routine medical problems as well as the diagnosis and treatment of complex disorders. The physician assistant, nursing, ultrasonography, clinical laboratory, and administrative staffs are composed of skilled professionals dedicated to consistently delivering quality services tailored to the needs of our patients.

The Doran Clinic operates both ultrasound and clinical laboratories on-site for the convenience of both patients and providers. Ultrasonography during pregnancy assesses growth, development and abnormalities of the fetus. Ultrasound is also used to detect disorders of the abdomen and to identify pelvic abnormalities in the uterus and ovaries. Ultrasound scans are conducted by our state licensed specialist who is registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and a member of the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
