Hopfer School of Nursing has been in the forefront of nursing education for over 100 years. The school is a private, Mount Vernon hospital-based, registered nursing program that offers a two year Associates Degree (ADN). For those individuals wishing to continue on a career path, matriculation options to BSN have been established with College of New Rochelle, Dominican College and Mercy College. Hopfer graduates are eligible to sit for the National Council Licensure Examination for registered nurses.

Through a strong theoretical and clinically based program, Hopfer graduates receive the necessary skills and confidence to provide the community with competent, quality nursing care that prepares them to practice in a variety of clinical settings.
