DPR CONSTRUCTION INC.- SAN FRANCISCO

With a disco ball as a permanent fixture in the training room and an annual Hawaiian shirt contest, DPR's San Francisco office, established in 1996, is located downtown and has built a solid reputation as a preferred service provider for some of the city's largest and most notable businesses. The office, which has two wine bars, features a view of the Transamerica pyramid, the Bay Bridge and Treasure Island, is also known for its Cinco de Mayo and holiday season open house parties.

DPR started its first year with a total of 11 professionals. In addition to "D, P and R, " the original crew included Sandy Grayson, Michele Leiva, Eric Lamb, Peter Salvati, Jim Washburn, Mark Bartley, Brad Des Jardin and Jim Dolen—six of whom are still with the company today. Much like the hundreds of projects DPR has completed over the years, the company has grown at a breakneck pace, with 10 regional offices established in nearly every major technology center in the U.S. that serve customers throughout the nation. DPR continues to rank in the top 50 general contractors in the country over the last decade.
