DR. J. GABRIEL GUAJARDO

Dr. Guajardo is a Brownsville native, graduating from James Pace High School in 1993. He began his undergraduate studies at University of Texas at Brownsville and completed his Bachelor of Science (Cum Laude) at The University of Texas at San Antonio in 1998. Acceptance to medical school took him to Galveston, Texas where he received his Medical Degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 2002.

Graduating near the top of his class, he was selected to be a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He selected the prestigious Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas for his specialty training in Obstetrics & Gynecology. There he was privileged to learn from renowned leaders in the field of Obstetrics & Gynecology. Since graduating in 2006, he has been providing quality care to the women of Brownsville and looks forward to applying his passion and dedication toward the advancement of Obstetrical and Gynecologic care in his hometown.

Dr. Guajardo is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

In his spare time, Dr. Guajardo enjoys reading, drawing and spending time with his lovely wife, Laura, and his two beautiful children, Alexis and Cristian.
