Detailed description:

Duke Law School is fully integrated into Duke University, one of the top research and academic institutions in the country. All of our centers and programs engage in interdisciplinary activities with other schools and institutes, all of which are located within a short distance of the Law School. We are located right in the heart of West Campus, across the street from the Fuqua School of Business, and in close proximity to the Medical Campus, Cameron Stadium, the Bryan Center, and Duke Chapel. Duke Law students have access to the University’s numerous resources, including libraries, research centers, and state-of-the art facilities, as well as the world-class Duke faculty. Our students love being a part of this broad, vibrant community, and take advantage of all that it entails, from the pursuit of a dual degree, to joining the Graduate and Professional Student Council to cheering on Coach K and the Blue Devils basketball team.

Those returning to the Law School after a few years away are pleasantly surprised by how much the building has changed. With a new wing and exterior façade, new classrooms, a renovated library, a new public gathering space, and the addition of several outdoor spaces, it has never looked better. These seemingly disparate elements in fact all have a common theme: to create special places, both formal and informal, for the Duke Law community to gather.
