For more than 80 years, Easter Seals Bay Area has been helping individuals and families with disabilities and special needs live better lives. Our services enable individuals with disabilities to address life’s challenges, achieve personal goals, and simply gain greater independence for everyday living. Easter Seals Bay Area has a specific expertise in providing services for individuals diagnosed on the autism spectrum, including consultation, early intervention, school-based, social skills, and therapeutic services. We currently serve seven counties in the Bay Area—Alameda, Contra Costa, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, and Solano counties. Easter Seals Bay Area is an affiliate of Easter Seals, Inc., which assists more than a million people through a nationwide network of affiliates in each of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico. We are a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization.

Easter Seals Bay Area provides innovative therapy, training, education, and support services to individuals from birth through young adulthood living with disabilities—especially those diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder. We serve seven Bay Area counties, including Alameda, Contra Costa, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara and Solano counties. Easter Seals Bay Area is leading the way to ensure that individuals and families affected by disabilities such as autism spectrum disorder can live, learn, work, and play to their full potential. Our key service lines include: Comprehensive Autism Services, Early Childhood Services, School-Age Services. All of our services are available for individuals to access on a private-pay basis. Private insurance reimbursement may also be available. Services: Easter Seals Bay Area is a leader in providing comprehensive, evidence-based evaluation and treatment for individuals from birth through young adulthood diagnosed on the autism spectrum. We offer innovative therapies as well as training, support, and education services to create life-changing solutions for those with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and their families. We are focused on four goals: Helping children build independence and self-determination. Teaching the tools for developing and maintaining loving relationships. Providing each child an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to family, school, and community. Dissemination of best practice methodologies through parent and professional training and education. In addition to comprehensive evaluation and treatment of all areas of development during early childhood, Easter Seals Bay Area offers support and guidance to parents about their child’s development as well as individualized programs to meet the specific needs of each child. Easter Seals Bay Area offers a comprehensive and creative approach to recreation, education, and socialization services for school-aged children.
