Discovery Depot is available for full time children only. We are limited to 45 children total. Our hours are 6:45 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. Discovery Depot Child Care Center is an inclusive center for children with and without disabilities together. It is a state licensed childcare center, providing full-time care for children of all abilities, ages six weeks to six years. Discovery Depot Child Care Center's goal is to accept, develop and strengthen a child's total potential - physical, intellectual, emotional, moral and social - in a safe home-like atmosphere of caring, loving and sharing. Discovery Depot emphasizes learning experiences based on promoting a child's natural curiosity and the development of help and communication skills, social competence, and positive esteem. Developmentally appropriate learning experiences are cultivated through creative play, music, art drama, reading computer and outdoor activities.

Easter Seals Decatur offers services for adults: Speech Therapy, Decatur: Ongoing therapy to enhance receptive and expressive communication, and oral-motor skills. Developmental Disabilities Program, Decatur: Invites those ages eight and over, with developmental disabilities to enjoy crafts, games and social activities and field trips. AgrAbility Unlimited, Statewide Program, Decatur: Promotes independence in agriculture for farmers with disabilities and their families through information on equipment, worksite modification, peer support and a toll free information hotline. Developmental Disabilities Program offers supervised activities, social events, and life skills training for people with developmental disabilities, ages eight and above. The disabilities may be mental, physical or a combination of impairments that occur before the age of 22. Our Vision: Through our programs, our participants will become successful members of the community by helping them attain: Tools for self advocacy, Life Planning Skills, Social achievements, A better public image for people with disabilities. They will become active and involved in their ongoing journey to independence. They will experience new social skills, sports and physical activities, fun and educational field trips and activities. Our Members May Have: Mental Retardation, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Hearing or Visual Impairments, Learning or Behavioral Disorders, A combination of the above. But most importantly, our members have a basic right and desire to lead happy and successful lives!
