Seals Volusia & Flagler Counties, FL serves all our neighbors with disabilities and special needs through various services. Programs and hours of operation vary by service center (as deemed necessary by community need). Services provided at this center include: newborn hearing screenings, pediatric hearing assessments, auditory processing testing; inclusive pre-school, after-school care, respite care, pediatric therapy and loan closet.

Children and adults with disabilities and special needs find highest-quality services designed to meet their individual needs when they come to Easter Seals. Teams of therapists, teachers and other health professionals help each person overcome obstacles to independence and reach his or her personal goals. Easter Seals also includes families as active members of any program, and offers the support families need. University-trained audiologists perform comprehensive evaluation and treatment services and have experience with difficult and previously failed cases. Most insurance plans are accepted, including Medicaid. Camp is about all the things children and adults can do -- play basketball, canoe, sing, eat s'mores and more. Easter Seals camping programs provide a safe, barrier-free environment for children and adults to experience all aspects of camp without usual limitations. Easter Seals Camp Challenge, situated on 63 beautiful acres in Sorrento, is Florida's only fully accessible residential camp. Camp provides an opportunity for people of all ages with physical limitations to achieve independence regardless of the challenges they face on a day-to-day basis. From campfire sing-a-longs and late night ghost stories, to boating, nature walks, swimming, and arts and crafts, Easter Seals camps provide the same excitement and activity available at other summer camp programs. The difference? Easter Seals campers experience the joys and challenges of camp in a fully-accessible setting. Campers have a range of choices that offer adventure and the chance to build new confidence and self-esteem. Caring, specially trained counselors and medical personnel make up the Camp Challenge staff. The camp is fully accredited by the American Camping Association, ensuring a quality experience.
