ECOAIR CORP

Short profile:

Ecoair Corp. is a market-oriented innovator in electric machine technology for both alternators and electric motors, has performed contract research for other major companies, and has produced its own Alternator.

Our experience includes bringing a new technology from concept through development, production and marketing. This real world skill set enables Ecoair to perform development projects related to electric motors and alternators for vehicles, boats and generator sets.

Detailed description:

Using the brand name Eco-Tech, Ecoair invented, developed and marketed its patented Alternator that has the unique features of high output at idle and unmatched alternator efficiency. Eco-Tech Alternators are operating in diesel powered military boat; fire trucks; ambulances; utility trucks; school, shuttle and party buses; and commercial fishing boats, all applications where significant operating time is spent at idle and where electric power needs are independent of engine speed. Ecoair Brushless PM Motor technology is developed for EV and HEV.

Founded in 1991, Ecoair Corp. has successfully performed contracts to develop more reliable, efficient and cost effective electrical machines, i.e. both alternators and motors. Our development partners include industry leaders in automobiles, heavy equipment, refrigeration, electric vehicles and hybrid electric vehicles. Ecoair has an experienced, professional engineering team and expertise in three dimensional solid modeling (CAD), finite element analysis (FEA), electro-magnetic simulation, power electronics and control design tools and has on-site test cells.

Ecoair moved our proprietary product, Eco-Tech 305-I Alternators, from design and test, to the market. Today, Eco-Tech high amp Alternators are installed and operating in diesel powered fire and utility trucks; ambulances; school, shuttle and party buses; and commercial boats.
