Emeritus is known for hiring some of the most compassionate, dedicated individuals in the senior living industry – individuals who go above and beyond to make a difference in the lives of our residents and in the communities in which they live. This section of the website gives us a special place to honor our employee family for their contributions to our communities – and to theirs. Every day – in big ways and small – they live the Emeritus Family Values.

At many of our communities, residents are involved in all kinds of charitable activities, from making dolls to send to children in Iraq to organizing fund-raisers to support needy families in the area. Many receive awards for their charitable efforts, as well as for individual achievements. For example, one of our residents was recently honored for his service to our country during World War II. In addition, many groups from the surrounding neighborhoods generously give their time to entertain and help residents.
