Engineered Designs, Inc. was established in 1997 by two engineers who have worked in the consulting industry for over 20 years. The company was created to meet a growing desire by owners and architects for more personal involvement and commitment to providing quality engineering services to clients. The initial core team of four people completed only 10 projects the first year. During the course of the last ten years, the number of projects completed has surpassed more than 200 annually, and the number of employees has tripled.

We offer Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection Engineering Design Services. From feasibility and facility studies, to construction documents and construction administration, we can cover all phases of project completion.

The principal engineers have over 30 years of combined engineering experience.

With diverse backgrounds in laboratory, electronic, and telecommunication building requirements, as well as commercial, healthcare, and manufacturing facilities, EDi offers a broad range of abilities and knowledge.

Just as important as what services we provide is when we can provide them. One of the company's core focuses is on meeting project schedules. With more involved owners, combined with today's fast pace and express review permitting programs, being able to meet deadlines is all the more critical.

In conjunction with our commitment to project schedule, we strive to provide a superior product. How we can do this is via a true team concept. We utilize Design Teams of individuals that work together on all of that team's projects. The Team Leaders are involved in all aspects of the project, from generating proposals, to scheduling the work, coordinating project information with other trades, to handling CA issues. With a dedicated group of people, it allows a more fluid design process and the ability to better meet project deadlines.
