The Assessment and Evaluation office provides a number of services to Florida schools, school districts, community colleges, universities, and students including school accountability and testing of students, teachers, and principals.

The Articulation office provides the leadership, information, and support needed for students to successfully progress through Florida's education system

Detailed description:

The Accountability, Research and Measurement Division provides education data and leadership to support high standards, continually improve achievement, and facilitate student opportunities throughout Florida's education system.

Budget Management is responsible for planning and directing the development of the Department's Legislative Budget Request, directing and assisting in the preparation and implementation of amendments to educational programs and policies, and reviewing and analyzing organizational structure and Staffing patterns and making recommendations. Develops, monitors, and manages the Department's Operating budget. In addition to budgeting, financial functions of the Department of Education are part of Budget Management operations.

The Chief Technology Office is responsible for Technology Planning and Management; Education Technology; Enterprise Project Management; Data Center Operations; Florida Information Resource Network (FIRN); and Customer/End User Support.
