With nearly 80, 000 students in 80 elementary schools, 24 middle schools and 6th grade centers, 13 high schools and 27 special campuses, Fort Worth ISD enjoys a diverse student population and strong community partnerships. Under the leadership of Superintendent Melody Johnson and the Board of Education, the District is undergoing a series of initiatives that will redesign, transform and revitalize Fort Worth ISD Schools. We believe these initiatives are strong, positive steps toward achieving the goal of becoming the best urban school district in the nation.
