Short profile:

Neurology practice in Raleigh, North Carolina committed to provide the highest quality of service

Detailed description:

Founded in 1983, by Dr Keith L. Hull, Jr and Dr S. Mitchell Freedman, the practice was originally located in Raleigh's North Hills area on Computer Drive. The offices moved around the corner to Merton Drive as the group expanded.

Our 40, 000 square foot facility conveniently located to Rex Hospital and Wake Medical Centers on Sunday Drive offers patients full neurological care and on-site sleep center.

With one of the largest child neurology practices outside a university setting in the region, RNA offers four full-time pediatric neurologists, a developmental pediatrician, and a pediatric nurse practitioner. The group's child neurology care is led by Dr John D. Wooten, who joined the practice in 2000.

Our neurodiagnostic capabilities have increased under the leadership of Dr. Richard Tim, who joined the practice in 2000. Our staff of licensed technologists works with him to perform nerve conduction studies, electromyography, electroencephalography, and evoked potential studies.

RNA’s fully-certified sleep center, led by Dr. A. Thomas Perkins, offers state-of-the-art sleep studies in our nationally-accredited sleep medicine program. Backed by the resources and expertise of this staff, the Sleep Medicine Program is a comprehensive, full-service clinical facility providing state-of-the-art capabilities to treat a wide range of sleep disorders.

Our recently established physical therapy division rehabilitates patients with a wide variety of neurological disorders, including peripheral neuropathy, Parkinsonism, multiple sclerosis, and spinal disorders. Tom Davis, LPT, launched this initiative when he joined the practice in 2004.
