Pasquaney chooses its thirty counsellors for their character, their interest in young people, their teaching ability, their expertise in activities, and their ability to impart the light touch of humor. Most are former campers; many are teachers with long service to education and to Pasquaney. The youngest counsellors are eighteen. Approximately one-third are experienced school and college educators. Counsellors keep an activity record for each boy so that his advisor can observe his progress toward his personal goals. In the middle and at the end of the season, counsellors send activity comments to parents with a letter from the director or a counsellor describing each camper’s growth in the less measurable areas of personal development.

We welcome young and older adult learners to apply. General education or program specified prerequisite courses can be taken at any accredited community college or university. Students then transfer to Loma Linda University School of Allied Health Professions to complete their Allied Health degrees.
