  • Sex Offender Treatment Program - Des Moines Office The Department‘s Sex Offender Treatment Program (SOTP) provides supervision and treatment for convicted or pre-trial release sexual offenders. Supervision incorporates the use of designated Warrant Team officers and Electronic Monitoring, which includes the use of Global Positioning System (GPS). Treatment services consist of psychosexual / amenability for treatment evaluations, polygraph assessment, penile plethysmograph (PPG) assessments, as well as cognitive behavioral group, individual and family therapy.

    As a water conservation district, our job is to measure and ensure that our local snow melt and rain stays here — replenishing our local groundwater supplies. We also manage the washes and measure the local groundwater and runoff — supplying important information to local water providers. Since 1912, the San Bernardino Valley Water Conservation District has worked to conserve water by diverting the natural flow of the Santa Ana River and Mill Creek into percolation basins that the District owns and operates. The District also helps to manage the Bunker Hill Groundwater Basin — a major source of water supply for local communities. We also serve as an impartial mediator and source of information for local water providers. As a District, we've started some very exciting new projects such as plans for a constructed wetlands to provide a steady source of clean, naturally filtered water for the basin.

Edison Elementary School Principal Tracy Vandeventer used a strategy to turn around one elementary school and is hoping to do the same at her current school.
