All breeding dogs are highly qualified and cleared medically to have the highest rated hips and elbows by the German SV (Governing kennel club of Germany), the OFA, or equal equivalent. We also clear all of our dogs of any possible spine issues. They have a very clear head and exceptionally balanced temperaments. All of our dogs have been titled in Schutzhund and have passed a breed suitability evaluation not only by certified judges but by myself holding a much higher standard of criteria than what is asked. The renovated restaurant, unique in its appearance, joined a crowded field of seven other surf retailers in New Smyrna Beach. Office Hours are by Appointment. We are a small company with room for growth. OC RAW DOG is a fresh FROZEN product. Keep frozen until ready to use but serve thawed. The amount you serve depends on the dog’s weight. We recommend 2%-3% of your dog’s body weight. Working or whelping dogs may need more. (THIS CAN BE ONE OR TWO FEEDINGS PER DAY). You can click on the link below to find the right amount to feed your dog based on his/her body weight. If food is not eaten entirely – refrigerate for next meal or discard. Once food is thawed is should be used within 3-4 days. Just like the chicken you eat if it smells spoiled it probably is.

This allows staff to observe their behavior, and check on them before the kennels close. Training is done every day of the year, including holidays. Training staff are on duty every day from about 7.00 am to 5.00 pm. Trainers cannot check in / out dogs outside of office hours.

The Dog and Cat Clinic, was founded in 1940 by Dr. Robert Franks, a graduate of Texas A&M. He owned and operated the Dog & Cat Clinic until 1985 when it was purchased by the current owner/Veterinarian, Dr. Valri E. Brown, a 1982 graduate of Auburn University, Auburn Alabama. She is the daughter of Air Force parents during elementary and middle school years. Then during high school her father retired and they moved to Alabama, hence Dr. Brown attended Auburn University for her Veterinary training. Upon graduation she immediately moved to Louisiana where she did a 3 month internship for a veterinarian in Minden and then went to work for Dr. Franks. Three years later she purchased the practice!
