Outback Adventures has been outfitting for 19 years. We are one the largest canoe and kayak rentals on the Allegheny River, if not the largest. We have been renting kayaks for 10 years now and have over 60 kayaks in our stable, giving us the largest number and selection in the area. We are located on the southern edge of the Allegheny National Forest, which gives us and you full access to the ANF River Wilderness Canoe Trail. This is important when selecting an outfitter because there are no pickups, you end up back at your car, whether taking a 2 hour or a 3 day trip, (no waiting for someone to pick you up). All islands are part of the ANF and provide excellent camping. The river is dam controlled and remains floatable all summer.

Owned and operated by Danny Brown, Whiskeyjack Paddles is located in the beautiful mountain town of Whitefish, Montana. We are very fortunate to be living and working in the heart of the Rocky Mountains and the gateway to Glacier National Park. Its an amazing way of life and I am enormously proud to offer our fine selection of handcrafted, wooden kayak and canoe paddles. I've been an avid woodworker and avid paddler for many years and several years ago decided to combine my two passions (kinda like chocolate and peanut butter.) I began making these paddles exclusively for friends and family as gifts to commemorate special paddling trips. I worked for many years as a graphic artist and this artistry is reflected in the beauty and elegance of our paddles. Through word of mouth, demand for our canoe paddles began to grow and eventually Whiskeyjack Paddles was born.
