    Ellet Branch Library is located in the center of the Ellet Community. The new Ellet Branch Library opened Monday, August 9, 1999. We are open 6 days a week to meet your needs for education, information, and recreation.     The orignal building (known as East Branch Library) first opened in 1922 in a rented room in the Goodyear Club House. In 1939 it became the first branch library of the Akron Public Library to occupy a building designed, built, furnished and owned by the library system. The building cost $45, 000.
