Our customer was looking for a 3PL known for its ability to provide excellence in operations execution when developing their “Logistics Network of the Future”. This stand alone 294, 000 square-foot facility supports one of our customer's large manufacturing plants, as well as supporting their regional DC network. Saddle Creek provides warehousing and distribution services, inventory control and value-added project management operating on a 16/5 plus schedule. Opening its doors in January 2008, Saddle Creek was responsible for the building make ready and initial build-up of inventory. The year was 1966. Terms like "logistics" and "supply chain management" were certainly not industry buzzwords. Yet, our founder and CEO David Lyons had a vision for an organization that would deliver competitive, dependable distribution services based upon these general concepts.
