The New York Circle of Translators (NYCT), which began in 1979 as a small group of dinner companions, has become a New York State not-for-profit corporation with several hundred members. It is governed by a set of Bylaws which regulate the internal affairs of the association. Our members are independent translators and interpreters as well as companies and organizations. NYCT is a chapter of the American Translators Association (ATA) which is, in turn, an affiliate of the International Federation of Translators (FIT). For years restaurants have relied on several standard 50 lb. compressed cylinders in order to carbonate beverages, but the trend has been to switch to bulk - undoubtedly a smart decision.
