The Spokane MEPS has been an active part of the local community since 1965. We provide jobs through our various contracts such as meals and lodging, maintenance and utilities. Additionally, we are conscious of our role as neighbors, friends, and citizens of Spokane. The Albuquerque MEPS was once housed in the "Old Post Office" building located at Fourth and Gold; in 1991, the MEPS moved to the vacant "Sears" building, built in 1936. The Minneapolis MEPS is located on the 3rd floor of the Bishop Henry Whipple Federal Building at One Federal Drive, near historic Fort Snelling. Over the years, this building has housed several key federal agencies including the Air Force, Army and Marine recruiting area headquarters. The mission of USMEPCOM and the Minneapolis MEPS is to process individuals for enlistment or induction into the armed services, based on DoD-approved peacetime and mobilization standards.

The New Orleans MEPS is one station in a network of 65 MEPS located throughout the continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. The NAS JRB New Orleans has facilities including a Commissary, Exchange, Bachelor Officer’s Quarters, Bachelor Enlisted Quarters, Navy Lodge, and numerous recreational activities. The MEPS is assigned military and civilian personnel who process up to 150 applicants each day for the armed forces. The MEPS is located in the vicinity of New Orleans’ most popular tourist attractions, such as the French Quarter, Bourbon Street, Superdome, Aquarium, IMAX Theater, Audubon Zoo, Riverwalk, and the The National World War II Museum. The mission of the Gonzaga University Bulldog Military Science Department is to commission the future officer leadership of the U.S. Army and motivate young people to become better citizens. The first informal Cadet Detachment atGonzaga University was established in 1897. The modern day program was initiated in 1947. Two Partnership Agreements exist with Whitworth University (WWU) and the Intercollegiate College of Nursing (ICN). For several years we have successfully accomplished our mission and objectives and we anticipate that we will continue to do so because of the high caliber cadets, cadre, and alumni, and the strong university support and incentives. The Phoenix MEPS is one of a network of 65 MEPS located nationwide and in Puerto Rico. Prior to July 1983, the Phoenix MEPS, or AFEES, was located downtown Phoenix. In July 1983, it was relocated to a national historical site. The new location was the Monroe School building, 215 N. 7th St. The tall columns supporting the front of the building and the rustic wood and glass entrance etched a lasting impression upon everyone who entered. On 12 June 1998, the Phoenix MEPS moved to its present location at 1 North First Street, in the heart of downtown Phoenix. Our new facility is directly across the street from America West Arena, home of the Phoenix Suns, Mercury and Coyotes and is 3 blocks away from Bank One Ballpark, home of the Arizona Diamondbacks. In addition to nearby sporting facilities, the Civic Plaza and Arizona Center are just a short walk away.
