In June 1971, Don Parrish, Sr. and Cecil Rhoades used their considerable experience in commercial and industrial transportation business and founded Commercial Warehouse and Cartage, Inc. Shortly thereafter, current Owner and President, Gregg Parrish, was hired as the first warehouse team member. Gregg's initiation into the warehouse business on the floor, on the forklift, in the truck, at the customer service desk and dealing directly with the clients planning and execution functions, laid the foundation for management involvement and accountability that has permeated 35 years of growth and expansion. Customer satisfaction and reliance on our "hands on", "do it right the first time", led to expansion beyond Fort Wayne. New geographic areas were added as clients asked us to establish or take over operations through out the Midwest, East and Southwest & Southeast.
