Stroop Rd., Kettering, Ohio location. At that time, the hospital business was owned and operated by Dr. James L. Gabel and his partner, the late Dr. P.C. Boise. Dr. Alex H. Watts joined the practice in 1980 and purchased the business in 2000. Dr. Watts and his wife, Rebecca, built a new hospital in 2005 at the current location, 1550 E David Rd. in Kettering, Ohio.

Computed Tomography (CT or “CAT” scan) uses a combination of x-rays and computerized reconstruction to produce images of the body in much greater detail than standard x-rays. All areas of the body can be evaluated with CT. San Diego Imaging has state-of-the-art CT scanners at both its Kearny Mesa and Chula Vista imaging centers, with multidetector technology that allows extremely fast scanning, thin slices for better resolution, and evaluation of blood vessels with CT angiography.

The Dog and Cat Clinic, was founded in 1940 by Dr. Robert Franks, a graduate of Texas A&M. He owned and operated the Dog & Cat Clinic until 1985 when it was purchased by the current owner/Veterinarian, Dr. Valri E. Brown, a 1982 graduate of Auburn University, Auburn Alabama. She is the daughter of Air Force parents during elementary and middle school years. Then during high school her father retired and they moved to Alabama, hence Dr. Brown attended Auburn University for her Veterinary training. Upon graduation she immediately moved to Louisiana where she did a 3 month internship for a veterinarian in Minden and then went to work for Dr. Franks. Three years later she purchased the practice!
