Our goal as breeders is to produce a healthy Golden with correct temperament, structure, and movement. We also believe strongly in educating the public and helping them find a healthy, well socialized puppy. We require all health clearances on all dogs in our breeding program, including OFA hip, OFA elbow, heart clearance (OFA), and a yearly eye clearance (CERF) examined by a board certified ophthalmologist.

He owned and operated the Dog & Cat Clinic until 1985 when it was purchased by the current owner/Veterinarian, Dr. Valri E. Brown, a 1982 graduate of Auburn University, Auburn Alabama. She is the daughter of Air Force parents during elementary and middle school years. Then during high school her father retired and they moved to Alabama, hence Dr. Brown attended Auburn University for her Veterinary training. Upon graduation she immediately moved to Louisiana where she did a 3 month internship for a veterinarian in Minden and then went to work for Dr. Franks. Three years later she purchased the practice!
