Carved from the oak woods lining Indian Creek, the Cedar Rapids Country Club ranks among the Midwest's best private clubs. The tradition began when Cedar Rapids' leading industrialists chose the site for a new club more than 100 years ago. CRCC has remained the area’s premier club for golf, dining, business and family activities for more than a century. In 1999, the members invested over $5 million to ensure that the clubhouse, dining and golf facilities remain the best. The renovations have preserved the traditional charm of the original architecture, large rooms, mullioned windows and high ceilings. The remodeling not only retained the stately elegance of the Club but also renovated all dining rooms, lobby areas, locker rooms and the kitchen. The heating, air conditioning, plumbing and electrical services also underwent substantial upgrades during the remodeling to prepare the club for the years to come.

Honey Hill Pet Center is a locally owned and operated pet store located in the Eastern Hills Mall in Clarence. The store has been around for fourteen years, but as of May 1st, 2007 we are under new ownership. Our staff has a combined 30 years of experience with animals and they work diligently to make Honey Hill Pet Center the best it can be. Jonathan Kirschenfeld Architect PC is internationally recognized for design excellence over a wide range of public and private architectural commissions. Mr. Kirschenfeld began his studies in 1976 at the Institute for Architecture and Urban Studies headed by Peter Eisenman. The following year, he was invited to work in the Milan office of Aldo Rossi and had the opportunity 15 years later to collaborate with Rossi on the Holtzman Residence in Michigan. Soon after graduating from the Masters program at Princeton, Mr. Kirschenfeld was a founding partner at Architrope, an award-winning design firm established with Andrew Bartle in 1987.

The Sylvania Recreation District (SAJRD) was formed in 1988 to provide the citizens of the Sylvania area with high quality recreational programs and facilities. The District is a collaboration between the City of Sylvania, Sylvania Township and Sylvania Schools. Each of these political entities appoints four people to the 12-person SAJRD Board. The District was formed under the Joint Recreation District provision (755.14) of the Ohio revised code. Under this provision, SAJRD can levy voter-approved taxes.
