The Albuquerque MEPS supports the local community and shares the normal ties of every other local area business. The Albuquerque MEPS was once housed in the "Old Post Office" building located at Fourth and Gold; in 1991, the MEPS moved to the vacant "Sears" building, built in 1936. Like other MEPS, we provide jobs through our various contracts such as meals and lodging, maintenance and utilities. The Minneapolis MEPS is one of a network of 65 MEPS located nationwide and in Puerto Rico. The Minneapolis MEPS is located on the 3rd floor of the Bishop Henry Whipple Federal Building at One Federal Drive, near historic Fort Snelling. Over the years, this building has housed several key federal agencies including the Air Force, Army and Marine recruiting area headquarters. The mission of USMEPCOM and the Minneapolis MEPS is to process individuals for enlistment or induction into the armed services, based on DoD-approved peacetime and mobilization standards.

The New Orleans MEPS is one station in a network of 65 MEPS located throughout the continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. The NAS JRB New Orleans has facilities including a Commissary, Exchange, Bachelor Officer’s Quarters, Bachelor Enlisted Quarters, Navy Lodge, and numerous recreational activities. The MEPS is assigned military and civilian personnel who process up to 150 applicants each day for the armed forces. The MEPS is located in the vicinity of New Orleans’ most popular tourist attractions, such as the French Quarter, Bourbon Street, Superdome, Aquarium, IMAX Theater, Audubon Zoo, Riverwalk, and the The National World War II Museum. Many of the finest hotels, restaurants and convention facilities are just a short trip away.

The USMTA United States Muay Thai Association Inc. was formed in 1991, by Khun Clint Heyliger, Mr. Lucas Cotte III, Anthony Enright, of New York, Kru Suuan Kevin Jakub, of Atlanta, Georgia, Mikhal Caldwell, of Detroit, Michigan, Kru Leon Bonewizc of Connecticut, and Kru Suuan Nirmalya Bhowmick of San Jose, California. The Organization was officially recognized by the British Thai Boxing Council, where in 1991 the USMTA became their official U. S. representative. The BTBC represented the USMTA in Bangkok, Thailand during a meetings with the (IMTA) International Muay Thai Association in 1993. The USMTA produced first western English language magazine for Muay Thai in the USA, "Muay Thai U. S. Kick Boxing News International" (MTUSKBN) International, later to become known as MTI "Muay Thai International", and was invited to become a member of the European Muay Thai Association of Amsterdam.

The primary task of the Office, a division of the Center for Program Planning and Results (CPPR) within the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management, is to perform research on the history of the programs and policies of the Department of Labor. Research may be used by policy makers, published in the form of books or articles, presented in conference papers, or provided electronically, often appearing in more than one of these formats. The Historian also conducts oral history interviews with Departmental officials when they leave office and responds to a wide range of queries from students and professional researchers, government staff, the news media, and the general public. The Historian assists with historical exhibits and commemorations at the Department. Exhibits in which assistance is provided include the Labor Hall of Fame and the "Century of Service Honor Roll of American Labor Organizations".

The Phoenix MEPS is one of a network of 65 MEPS located nationwide and in Puerto Rico. Prior to July 1983, the Phoenix MEPS, or AFEES, was located downtown Phoenix. In July 1983, it was relocated to a national historical site. The new location was the Monroe School building, 215 N. 7th St. The tall columns supporting the front of the building and the rustic wood and glass entrance etched a lasting impression upon everyone who entered. On 12 June 1998, the Phoenix MEPS moved to its present location at 1 North First Street, in the heart of downtown Phoenix. Our new facility is directly across the street from America West Arena, home of the Phoenix Suns, Mercury and Coyotes and is 3 blocks away from Bank One Ballpark, home of the Arizona Diamondbacks. In addition to nearby sporting facilities, the Civic Plaza and Arizona Center are just a short walk away.
