The Physical Therapy Department at the Hutchinson Clinic treats clients with musculoskeletal, orthopedic, and neurological conditions upon physician referral. The department also accepts referral from non-Clinic physicians. The department is staffed by one full time Physical Therapist by the name of Mark Hall. Treatment programs are developed in consultation with physicians and may include physical modalities, therapeutic exercise instruction, work reconditioning programs, hydrotherapy, and home exercise instruction. We do both individual therapy or group therapy (Social Communication). The individual therapy sessions are generally an hour, 50 minutes of therapy time and 10 minutes to discuss how the therapy session went. Weekly homework is provided to parents to practice skills outside of the therapy room. Parents are always welcome to attend the therapy session, as long as the child is able to attend to the activities. Group therapy will be no more than 3 children per group. The groups will be created, depending on a child’s language level and/or abilities to be a part of a group. If you’re interested in a group therapy, please talk to a clinician.
