The mission of the Toledo Municipal Court is to hear and dispose of cases within the Court's jurisdictional limits in a judicious and timely manner and provide opportunities for rehabilitation. The Court's operation is defined by the Federal and State Constitutions, the Ohio Revised Code, Toledo Municipal Code, State Civil and Criminal Procedural Rules, and the Rules of Superintendence. Court is in session daily, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., except legal holidays, and as otherwise ordered by the Court. Please refer to Local Rule 2 for more information about particular court sessions. The Judges' Division staff is available from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The Probation Department is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The Citizen's Dispute Settlement Program is open from 8:30 a.m. to noon and from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
