Our customer wanted to drill out and remove post fracturing composite plugs safely and more efficiently than had been possible in the past. The wells in question were high pressure and high temperature which warranted a new approach. IPS designed and engineered 2 new CT strings that were custom built for the application. We followed through with engineering and special projects support on location for the operation.

The Guadalupe Clinic provides primary medical care to those without medical insurance and ineligible for medical cards or Medicare. Three-fifths of the clinics’ clients are “working poor” holding one or more jobs. The primary clinic at 940 S. St. Francis, Wichita, KS, was opened in 1985 in a former school. A satellite clinic operates at 1406 N. Erie.

IPS Engineers analyzed the well conditions and determined snubbing unit was the appropriate solution to drill out bridge plug. They also recommending using the IPS Green Flowback Process to sell gas while tripping pipe and drilling the bridge plug. During the tripping operation - gas produced at 2mmscf/day, during the drilling operation - gas produced at 5 mmscf/day.
