The Des Moines Youth Hockey Association offers recreational youth hockey players the opportunity to learn fundamental skills and basic team concepts in a positive, fun, and enthusiastic environment. DMYHA also makes available to the participants of the Youth Hockey Division a highly competitive Travel Hockey program for skaters with above average talent.

Sioux Falls People for Youth, a non-profit organization, is nearly 30 years old and is made up of 24 volunteer committee members. Our common goal is to promote youth softball in the Sioux Falls area. SFPY annually hosts an ASA National Qualifier Tournament for two age groups in June, and our invitational tournament, The International Ringneck Tournament, held over the July 4th weekend. This tournament attracts over 100 girls teams in four age groups: 12, 14, 16, and 18. The proceeds from these tournaments are our group's only source of income.

The Youth Conservation Corps (YCC) is administratively attached to the Energy, Minerals and Natural Resources Department. YCC was created in 1992 to provide a process to employ the youth in public projects. Participants learn employment skills, work ethics, as well as self-discipline and self-esteem.

It is off of Bangs Avenue near McHenry. Modesto Youth Soccer will be offering one (1) referee course this year. The course limited to 65 students is now FULL. We have currently started a waiting list.

WGI Sport of the Arts is the world's premier organization producing indoor color guard and percussion ensemble competitions. As a non-profit youth organization, WGI serves as the leading governing body of the winter guard and indoor percussion activities. It is called the Sport of the Arts because it brings music to life through performance in a competitive format. Now entering its 33rd year, the sport continues to evolve and grow. There were over 11, 000 participants at the Sport of the Arts World Championships this past April.

Street Level Artists Agency was founded by Larry Norman in the early 70's. He and friends Randy Stonehill, Daniel Amos and others were the Christian radicals of their time, intent on bringing the Gospel into the rock 'n roll vernacular of the common man. These were musical artists addressing those who would not darken a church door and those who believed but did not find resonance with the music being played in the church. More than 30 years later, Street Level Artists Agency continues to represent artistic and committed musicians.
